The weekend portion of the Family Forestry Expo this year was on Saturday, May 8th. The weekend activities are aimed at the entertainment and education of the whole family. The exhibits included topics like wildlife, birds, pest control, trapping, fisheries, and hunter safety. There were several grandstand events featuring FVCC logging sports, a USFS pack string, modern logging methods, and logging sports demonstrations by professionals. Visitors could then take a break for a free lunch.
